Where Students
Become Authors
An initiative born inside the Faculty of Shariah & Law at the International Islamic University Islamabad — transforming academic thought into public discourse, freely and without censorship.
Team Prime Pen
Student-led from day one. Three voices, one conviction — that young minds deserve a serious platform.
A dynamic Pakistani lawyer-artist, writer, and curator dedicated to using multidisciplinary storytelling as a catalyst for social change. Blending her rigorous legal background — focused on the complexities of technology and artificial intelligence governance — with a deeply intuitive painting and writing practice, she creates work that gives voice to critical societal narratives. Whether through legal scholarship, creative prose, or curated visual exhibitions, she bridges the gap between analytical advocacy and emotional impact.
A final-year law student who possesses hands-on experience in computer science and emerging technologies. This distinctive blend of legal expertise and technical fluency enabled him to transform the concept of Prime Pen into a fully realized venture. He stands out as a well-polished law student in both academic and non-academic domains, having actively participated in several national moot court competitions where he demonstrated exceptional advocacy skills, legal reasoning, and composure under pressure. His ability to navigate complex legal frameworks while leveraging technological insights positions him at the evolving intersection of law and innovation.
A final-year LL.B. (Hons.) student at International Islamic University Islamabad with a strong academic interest in law, taxation, and legal research. He has developed practical advocacy skills through his participation as a speaker in both intra-university and national moot court competitions, where he represented his institution and honed his legal argumentation and courtroom presentation abilities. His dedication to rigorous legal scholarship and public interest work makes him a valued voice within the platform.
A Thoughtful Idea Turned Into Reality
The Prime Pen was founded by dedicated students at the Faculty of Shariah & Law, International Islamic University Islamabad, united by one belief: that young voices deserve a stage, not a filter.
What began as informal discussions in university corridors evolved into a full-fledged publishing platform serving students, researchers, and emerging professionals across Pakistan and beyond.
"Every great publication started with one person who believed their words mattered."
Today, The Prime Pen is a growing archive of legal analysis, political commentary, literature, and original research — built entirely by students, for students, at no cost whatsoever.
Officially Recognized by the Federal Tax Ombudsman
The Prime Pen runs a dedicated FTO Awareness Blog, a public-interest initiative designed to raise awareness among taxpayers about their rights, remedies, and the role of the Federal Tax Ombudsman of Pakistan.
Written in accessible language by law students and legal researchers, the blog demystifies the tax complaints process, explains FTO jurisdiction, and empowers ordinary citizens to seek redress against maladministration by tax authorities.
In recognition of this contribution, The Prime Pen's FTO Awareness Blog was officially recognized by the Federal Tax Ombudsman in 2025 — a landmark achievement for a student-led platform and a testament to the quality and real-world impact of the work published here.
